TNTET Notification 2025 Out: Application Form, Exam Dates, Direct Link. The Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB), Government of Tamil Nadu, has issued examination notification for the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) 2025 for selection TN Govt School Teacher Vacancies in Class I to V and Class VI to VIII. Eligible candidates from Tamil Nadu can apply online for Paper-I and Paper-II until 5:00 PM on 08th September 2025. This test qualifies candidates for teaching positions in classes I to VIII.
The official TNTET 2025 notification was released on 11th August 2025. Candidates meeting the educational requirements for Paper-I (Classes I-V) or Paper-II (Classes VI-VIII) can access the detailed notification and proceed with online applications. Qualification
Paper-I (For Classes I-V):
Higher Secondary or equivalent with minimum 50% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Higher Secondary or equivalent with at least 45% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE Regulations, 2002.
Higher Secondary or equivalent with 50% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
Higher Secondary or equivalent with 50% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
Paper-II (For Classes VI-VIII):
Graduation and passed/appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Graduation with 50% marks and passed/appearing in final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).
Graduation with 45% marks and passed/appearing in final year of B.Ed. as per NCTE Regulations.
Higher Secondary or equivalent with 50% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 4-year B.El.Ed.
Higher Secondary or equivalent with 50% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 4-year B.A./B.Sc. Ed. or B.A. Ed./B.Sc. Ed.

Application Form Fees
Rs. 600/- per application for General and other categories.
Rs. 300/- per application for SC/SCA/ST and PwD candidates.
Separate applications and fees for Paper-I and Paper-II.
Payment via online gateway (Net Banking/Credit/Debit Card).
Form Apply Process
Qualified candidates need to submit applications online via the TRB website (www.trb.tn.gov.in). Separate submissions are required for Paper-I and Paper-II, each with its own fee.
Prepare scanned copies of recent color passport-size photo, signature, and necessary certificates (10th/12th marksheets, Diploma/B.Ed., Community Certificate, PwD Certificate if applicable).
Complete the online form by 08/09/2025 (5:00 PM) and make payment through the integrated gateway. Use the edit option from 09/09/2025 to 11/09/2025 if needed.
