M.Sc / Equivalent Degree with 55% Marks for General / OBC Candidates.
For SC / ST and PH Candidates : 50% Marks.
Integrated Course and B.E/ B.Tech / B.Pharma and MBBS Candidates Are Also Eligible for CSIR NET 2025.
Age
Upper Age limit:
(a) JRF: Maximum 28 years, No Age Limit, {upper age limit may be relaxable upto 5 years in case of SC/ST/Third gender/Persons with Disability (PwD) / female applicants and 03 years in case of OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) applicants}. *This age limit is applicable for the current examination cycle only.
(b) Lectureship (LS)/ Assistant Professor: No upper age limit.

OBC/EWS: Rs. 600/-
SC/ST/Third Gender/PH: Rs. 325/-
Pwd: Rs. 0/-
Pay the Exam Fee Via Online Debit/Credit Card/UPI or Internet Banking through any of the payment gateway of SBI/ICICI.
