Scouts & Guides Quota - 08

• Pay Matrix Level–2 (GP ₹1900): 12th Pass with 50% marks (relaxable for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen or higher qualified candidates).

• Technical Posts: 10th + ITI/Apprenticeship (NCVT/SCVT).

• Pay Matrix Level–1 (GP ₹1800): 10th Pass / ITI / NAC from NCVT.

The candidate should possess the following certificates in support of his/her Scouts & Guides qualification:-

(a) A President’s Scout/ Guide/ Ranger/ Rover OR Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) Holder in any section;
(b) Should have been an active member of a Scouts organization for at least 5 years. The ‘Certificate of Activeness’ should be as per Annexure ‘C’.
(c) Should have attended two event at National level OR All India Railways’ level AND Two events at State level.

• Candidates applying for Grade Pay Rs. 1900 (Pay Matrix Level – 02) i.e. Catg. No.1 should be aged between 18 to 30 as on 01.01.2026. (i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 01.01.1996 and not later than 01.01.2008)
• Candidates applying for Grade Pay Rs. 1800 (Pay Matrix Level – 01) i.e. Catg. No.2 should be aged between 18 to 33 as on 01.01.2026. (i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 01.01.1993 and not later than 01.01.2008)
• The Upper Age Relaxation: 05 years for SC / STm 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PwBD.

• Written test - 60 Marks
• Marks on Certificates - 40 Marks

• Eligible candidates should apply online through North Central Railway RRC online application portal (rrcncr.in).
• The Candidates should ensure that their Name, Father's Name, Date of Birth should exactly match as recorded in Matriculation or equivalent certificate.
• The candidates are required to upload scanned copy of Signature (in English or in Hindi), Photograph and other required documents. The closing date for submission of online registration is 21/10/2025 up to 23:59 Hours.

• Level 2, Grade Pay ₹ 1900/-
• Level 1, Grade Pay ₹ 1800/-
