Qualification
Professor – Ph.D. or equivalent degree in appropriate subject/branch with first class or equivalent (in terms of grades etc.) at the preceding degree with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of ten years teaching/ research/ forestry/ industrial experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor.
Associate Professor – Ph.D. or equivalent degree in appropriate subject/branch with first class or equivalent (in terms of grades etc.) at the preceding degree with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of six years teaching/ research/ forestry/ industrial experience of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor.
Assistant Professor – Ph.D. or equivalent degree in appropriate subject/branch with first class or equivalent (in terms of grades etc.) at the preceding degree with a very good academic record throughout and at least three years teaching/ research/ forestry/ industrial experience. However, excluding the experience gained while pursuing PhD.
