Qualification

ITI Trades: Matriculation (10th) Pass + ITI Certificate in relevant trade from NCVT/SCVT.
Non-ITI Trades: Matriculation (10th) Pass only.
Non-ITI Trade (Rigger): 8th Standard Pass.

Age

Minimum 14 years for non-hazardous trades and 18 years for hazardous trades. No upper age limit.

The NSRY Online Registration will be made through the Apprenticeship India Portal under National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS). The NSRY Apprenticeship Online Registration Process Steps are as follow:-

➢ Step 1: Visit www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in and click on NAPS (top right corner).

➢ Step 2: Search for “Naval Ship Repair Yard Karwar” in the "Search by Establishment Name" section. A list of Opportunities will be displayed.

➢ Step 3: Select and apply for the desired/eligible apprenticeship trade from the list of Opportunities.

➢ Step 4: For Goa Yard, follow similar steps searching for the relevant establishment.

➢ Step 5: Complete the online registration and download the Candidate Profile printout from the web portal.
