Qualification

AFCAT Entry (Flying Branch): Graduation with minimum three years degree course in any discipline with a minimum 60% Marks (OR) B.E. / B.Tech Degree with a minimum 60% Marks (OR) Candidates who have cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
AFCAT Entry (Ground Duty Technical Branch): 10+2 Physics and Maths with 04 years Degree or Post Graduate in Engineering / Technology.
AFCAT Entry (Ground Duty Non-Technical Branches): Administration and Logistics - Degree in any discipline; Accounts - B.Com degree; Education - MBA / MCA or MA / M.Sc. Degree.
NCC Special Entry (Flying Branch): 10+2 Physics and Maths with Graduates with minimum three years degree course in any discipline with a minimum 60% marks or equivalent OR B.E. / B.Tech Degree with a minimum 60% marks or equivalent.
Meteorology: Passed 10+2 and Post Graduate Degree in any Science stream/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Geography/ Computer Applications/ Environmental Science/ Applied Physics/ Oceanography/ Meteorology/ Agricultural Meteorology/ Ecology & Environment/ Geo-physics/ Environmental Biology with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together.

Age

Flying Branch and NCC Special Entry: 20 to 24 years as on 1st January 2027.
Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical): 20 to 26 years as on 1st January 2027.

The IAF Online Registration will be made through the AFCAT CDAC official website. The IAF AFCAT Online Registration Process Steps as follow:-

➢ Step 1: Eligible interested candidates apply online through AFCAT CDAC official website (careerindianairforce.cdac.in OR afcat.cdac.in) from 10th November 2025.

➢ Step 2: The candidates should enter basic / communication and qualification details.

➢ Step 3: Pay the application fee (if applicable) through online payment gateway. Submit the application form on or before 09/12/2025 up to 11:30 PM.
