Metal and Steel Factory Ishapore Job Vacancy 2025-26 for 15 Apprentices: Under the Skill India Mission of the Government of India, this establishment is in the process of engaging Graduate Apprentices and Diploma/Technician Apprentices for one year of apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961, and its amendments. This training will take place at Metal and Steel Factory, Ishapore (West Bengal), a unit under Yantra India Limited (A Government of India Enterprise), in various disciplines through the Government of India NATS Portal.

✔️ Graduate Apprentices: Mechanical - 02, Electrical - 02, Metallurgical - 02. ✔️ Diploma / Technician Apprentices: Mechanical - 03, Electrical - 03, Metallurgical - 03.
✔️ For Diploma Holders: Between 18 to 22 years as on closing date. ✔️ For Graduates: Between 21 to 25 years as on closing date. ✔️ The Upper age relaxation - 05 years for SC / ST, 03 years for OBC (NCL) and 10 years for PwD.
✔️ Graduate Apprentices: ₹ 10900/- per month. ✔️ Diploma / Technician Apprentices: ₹ 12300/- per month.
✔️ Graduate Apprentices: B.E. / B.Tech Engineering Graduate in relevant discipline.
✔️ Diploma / Technician Apprentices: Diploma in relevant engineering discipline.
Selection will be based on the merit list and vacancy positions advertised. Final merit lists will be prepared considering reservation breakup, if any, in descending order of percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in the respective field in graduate or diploma courses. Shortlisted candidates, as per vacancies listed, will be called for document verification. In case of two candidates having the same marks, the older candidate will be preferred. If dates of birth are also the same, the candidate who passed the respective Graduate or Diploma Examination earlier will be considered first. Even if the years of passing the respective Graduate or Diploma Examination are the same, the candidate's name appearing first alphabetically will be considered first. Candidates finally enlisted in the provisional select list will be subject to a satisfactory police verification report including verification of educational qualification as well as a medical examination.
No Fee shall be charged from the candidates applying for Graduate / Diploma Apprenticeship Training.
➢ Eligible candidates must register themselves in NATS Portal and then apply for Graduate / Diploma Apprentices through NATS Web Portal. ➢ Candidates are advised to indicate their active mobile number and valid e-mail ID in the online application and keep them active during the entire engagement process as all important messages will be sent by email/SMS. ➢ Original Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC), for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer Certificate) and Physical Disability Certificate, in case of PH/PWD shall be produced by the candidate at the time of document verification. ➢ Provisionally selected candidates having Aadhaar Card shall have to produce original Aadhaar card or the documents, uploaded during the time of registration in NATS portal, at the time of document verification.
