Research Associate: Doctoral degree: Ph.D. in Biotechnology/ Plant Physiology/ Plant Biochemistry/ Genetics & Plant Breeding/Botany/ any relevant discipline of life sciences with desirable experience. OR Master’s degree: Master's degree in Biotechnology/ Plant Physiology/Plant Biochemistry/ Genetics & Plant Breeding/Botany/ any relevant discipline of life science
Senior Research Fellow : Master’s degree in relevant subjects (Plant Biotechnology/ Plant Physiology/ Plant Biochemistry/Life sciences/ Microbiology) with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s degree (1st Division). Candidates having graduate degree in basic Sciences with 3 years of Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET/GATE/ICAR-SRF (PhD entrance) qualification and 2 years of research experience
The candidates shall be shortlisted based on eligibility criteria, educational performance and/or relevant research experience, if applicable.
Only, shortlisted candidates shall be informed about the screening results via email and shall be invited to attend online/in-person interview at Div. of Plant Physiology, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi.
The candidates are advised to regularly check their email for updates. No TA/DA shall be paid to attend the interview. Thefinal result of the interview shall be published in IARI website (https://iari.res.in) under the heading News>ContractualJobs>View Results.
The original documents of the selected/wait-listed candidates shall be checked in person, before the issue of the offer letter.
Form Apply Process
Interested candidates are requested to send their applications in enclosed proforma along with self-attested scanned copy of the original documents (in a single pdf) to e-mail address and fill in the google form (https://forms.gle/5uJbUEjAUTRa1b4T9).
The last date for receipt of application is 30th November 2025. After screening the applications, only shortlisted candidates shall be called for online interview to be held in the first week of December 2025.
Any change in the Interview date will be intimated to the shortlisted candidates or placed in IARI website.
The positions are unreserved, temporary and co-terminus with the project. The institution reserves the right to modify the number of vacancies.
