Minimum Age: 18 years (all categories). Maximum Age for General Category: 37 years. Maximum Age for SC / BC of Punjab: 42 years. Maximum Age for Punjab State and Central Government employees: 45 years. Upper age for Ex‑Servicemen of Punjab: as per Punjab Recruitment of Ex‑Servicemen Rules, 1982 (age after deducting military service must not exceed upper limit by more than 3 years).
