Ph.D in Genetics and Plant Breeding from an ICAR accredited University/College. OR Master’s degree in the relevant subject with 4/5 years of Bachelor’s degree in first division or equivalent overall grade point average. Minimum 3 years of teaching/research experience in the relevant field, supported by Fellowship/Associateship/Training/Other engagements. At least one research paper published in a Science Citation Index (SCI) / NAAS rated (≥4.0) journal. All degrees must be obtained from ICAR accredited Universities/Colleges only. Age limit: 40 years for men and 45 years for women as per notification.
Maximum age: 40 years for men. Maximum age: 45 years for women.
Selection will be based on Walk-in Interview. Candidates have to attend the interview in person at the specified venue and time with required documents. The decision of the selection committee is final and binding in all aspects.
Eligible candidates should directly attend the Walk-in Interview on 11.12.2025 at 10.30 A.M. Candidates must bring a bio-data with latest colour passport-size photographs. Original certificates should be produced for verification at the time of interview. Two sets of attested photocopies of certificates and other relevant documents must be submitted. Application on plain paper giving bio-data, name and address of two references and affixing latest passport-size photograph should be submitted at the time of interview. Candidates who are employed should bring a no objection certificate from their employer.
