Passed 10th or its equivalent examination Candidate possessing higher education qualification should also upload their 12th Pass/ Graduation certificate/Post Graduation Certificate Only those sportspersons who have acquired the sports achievement eligibility norms in the championship held on or after 01/04/2023 to date of notification and are active Players Represented the country in any of the category C Championships/events OR At least 3rd position in Federation cup Championships (Senior Category) OR Represented a state of equivalent Unit, except in Marathon and cross Country, with at least 8th position in senior national championship only All the championships mentioned above should have been conducted under the aegis of recognized International/National/State Sports Federation and also recognized by Railway Sports Promotion Board (RSPB)
Minimum Age: 18 Years Maximum Age: 25 Years No age relaxation (upper or lower) shall be permissible
For all candidates except those mentioned in sub-para (ii) below Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred) only through Online Payment in favour of RRC/NR. Recruitments of sportspersons shall be dealt as per Railway Board’s letter no. 2010/E (Sports)/4 (1)/1 (Policy) dated 31.12.2010 read with modifications/amendments issued by the Railway Board from time to time In case any applicant has difficulty in filling their applications ONLINE, they are free to contact the help line numbers displayed on RRC website with notification Merely filling up online application on RRC website does not make the candidate being eligible for selection process All the recruitments against Open Advertisement quota shall be at the minimum of scale of pay in the Pay Matrix Railway Administration reserves the rights to recruit eligible candidates Candidate applying for more than one discipline/game or event shall submit separate application with separate examination fee along with all necessary documents for each discipline/game or event No request for change of Date & Venue of trials will be entertained No relaxation in Age, Education/Sports Norms, Standards shall be permissible No candidate should attempt impersonation or take the help of any impersonator at any stage of the selection process Any material suppression of facts or submitting of forged/false certificates/caste certificate by a candidate for securing eligibility and/or obtaining privileges, including fee exemption for appearing in the selection trial shall lead to rejection of his/her candidature Candidates who have been debarred for life from all RRB/RRC examinations or candidates who have been debarred for a specified period which is not yet completed need not apply Any subsequent changes in the terms and conditions of the Employment Notice as per extant rules will stand good Candidates selected through Sports quota will have to perform in his/her field of sports for a minimum period of 5 years RRC reserves the right to reject the candidature of any applicant at any stage of the process of recruitment, if any irregularity/deficiency is noticed in the application For any Legal Dispute, the Jurisdiction will be at New Delhi only In the event of any dispute about interpretation or any mistake, the English version will be treated as final Canvassing in any form, misbehavior or misconduct will lead to summary rejection and cancelling of candidature and no correspondence will be entertained in this matter Use of power enhancing drugs medicines/steroid/alcohol etc. Is strictly banned and candidates may be required to undergo medical test if needed be
