  • Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Full Time/Regular)
  • Experience: Minimum 16 years of post qualification experience in construction/supervision of project in Hydrocarbon Industry (Hydrocarbon process plants, Hydrocarbon/Crude/Petroleum product/Oil/Gas Steel pipelines, Petrochemical plant, LPG plant, Refinery/POL depot, Gas compressor station, Petroleum product pumping station)
  • Marks Required: 60% for UR/OBC/EWS, 55% for SC/ST/PwD

Post Code 02: Junior Engineer (Mechanical) with NDT - 05 Posts

  • Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering & NDT Level-2 Certification (Full Time/Regular)

Important Notes on Qualification:

  • The requisite educational qualification for post code 01 to 05 should have been acquired through a Regular/Full Time Course only
  • For post code 06 & 07 it should be acquired through Regular/Full Time/Open and Distance learning mode from UGC recognized university
  • Rounding of percentage (%) will not be acceptable under any circumstances i.e. 59.99% will not be rounded off as 60%
  • Wherever percentage of marks is not awarded and only grades are awarded, on a 10-point scale grade of 6.0 will be considered as 60%

2. Age Limit

Stage 5: Medical Examination

  • Selected candidates will undergo Medical Examination
  • Joining shall be subject to being found medically fit by Medical Board of Company's Hospital (Ispat Hospital, Shyamali, Ranchi)
  • Decision of Medical Board will be final and binding

Final Selection:

  • Final list of selected candidates will be uploaded on MECON's website
