Essential language proficiency: Proficiency in Oriya language, including excellent reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
Educational qualification (preferred): Degree / Diploma in Oriya language, linguistics, literature, or a related field; Master’s & PhD degree holders will be given preference.
Experience: Proven experience of 2–5 years as an Oriya translator, interpreter, or content creator; candidates with 2–5 years practical, hands-on experience in the mentioned areas will be prioritized.
Skills: Strong attention to detail and deep understanding of Oriya grammar, syntax, vocabulary; excellent organizational and time management skills.
Computer skills: Proficient in MS Office with knowledge of typing; familiarity with tools commonly used in translation/transcription/content domains; awareness of Unicode fonts & digital content creation.
Other attributes: Cultural sensitivity and awareness of Oriya language, culture, customs & traditions; ability to work independently as well as collaboratively; proficiency with translation and transcription tools is a plus; previous experience in a similar role or in a multicultural environment is preferred; flexibility and adaptability to work on various projects.
Screening of applications will be based on qualifications, age, academic record and relevant experience.
