• Educational Qualification (Essential): Bachelor degree in any of the Social Science subjects from a recognised University.
• Educational Qualification (Preferential): Master’s degree in any of the Social Science subjects from a recognised University with at least 2 years’ experience in research.
• Computer Proficiency: As prescribed by Mizoram Group ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ posts Service/Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2023 notified vide No. A.12018/31/2020-P&AR (GSW) dated 10.03.2023.
• Mizo Language Proficiency: Candidate must achieve pass mark in qualifying test of Mizo Language Proficiency as prescribed; exempted if Mizo subject studied in Class X (HSLC) or above within Mizoram or opted as MIL outside Mizoram, as per notified rules.
• Documentation: Documentary support to prove all eligibility conditions must not be dated later than the last date of application.

• Minimum age: 18 years as on the last date of application.
• Maximum age: 35 years as on the last date of application.
• Upper age limit relaxable up to 5 years in case of ST/SC candidates or as may be notified by the Government from time to time.
