Essential qualification: Bachelor’s/master’s degree in engineering in Ceramics/ Electronics/ Electrical/ Mechanical/ Metallurgical/ Chemical Engineering & Tech./ Materials Science & Technology/ Silicate Technology/ Nano Technology/ any other engineering/science branches with a minimum of 60% marks (or 6 CGPA). Essential: Having a GATE Score. Desirable: Hands-on experience in materials synthesis, with strong knowledge of materials characterization techniques such as XRD, SEM, etc. Desirable: Prior experience in high-voltage engineering will be considered an added advantage.
Emoluments (p.m.): Rs. 37,000/- (Consolidated). Duration of position: One Year.
Upper age limit is 28 years as of the last date of the application. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the GOI norms.

The PI has the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement. Only the shortlisted candidates will be communicated to appear in the interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The candidate is expected to join immediately if selected.
The position is purely temporary and is coterminous with the project titled “Development of Carbon Ceramic Resistors (CCR) with 6 ± 0.6 Ohm Resistance Comparable to Benchmark Products,” sponsored by CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited, S6 Vacuum Interrupter, Aurangabad.
