Qualification
- Nationality: Must be a Citizen of India.
- Educational Qualification:
- Stenographer Grade-II: 12th Pass or equivalent.
- Tax Assistant: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- Multi-Tasking Staff: 10th Pass or equivalent.
- Sports Eligibility: Meritorious achievements in specified games up to 07.01.2026. Priority as per DoPT guidelines: International representation > National medals > Inter-University > Khelo India > School Games, etc.

Application Form Fees
- Application Fee: ₹200/- (payable online).
- Exemptions as per rules (if any, refer notification).
Selection Process
- Selection based on merit in sports achievements as per DoPT order of preference.
- Shortlisted candidates may be called for verification of documents/sports certificates.
- No written examination.
Form Apply Process
Eligible meritorious sportspersons must apply ONLINE only through the official portal. Only one application per candidate is allowed (can apply for multiple posts).
➢ Step 1: Visit www.incometaxmumbai.gov.in and go to the Sports Recruitment section.
➢ Step 2: Click on the online application link (available from 07.01.2026).
➢ Step 3: Register/fill the application form with personal, educational, and sports details.
➢ Step 4: Upload self-attested documents: Photo, Age Proof, Education Certificates, Sports Certificates (in DoPT format), Caste/PwBD/NOC (if applicable), Aadhaar.
➢ Step 5: Pay ₹200/- fee online and submit before 31 January 2026. Take printout.
