Qualification
- Educational Qualification:
- Level 5/4: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from recognized University.
- Level 3/2: 12th Pass or equivalent OR Matric + ITI.
- Level 1: 10th Pass + ITI / NAC OR Matric + Course Completed Act Apprenticeship.
- Sports Norms: Achievements must be from recognized federations; valid up to closing date. Priority based on categories (A: Olympics Senior; B: World/Asian/Commonwealth; C: Asian Championships, Nationals, etc.).
- Level 5/4: Olympics Senior OR 3rd in Category-B events.
- Level 3/2: Category-B representation OR 3rd in Category-C / Senior/Junior Nationals / National Games / Inter University / 1st in Federation Cup Senior.
- Level 1: Category-C representation OR 3rd in Federation Cup Senior OR State representation with 8th in Senior Nationals (except Marathon/Cross Country).

Selection Process
- Trials: 40 Marks (Minimum 25 for FIT).
- Assessment of Sports Achievements: 50 Marks.
- Educational Qualification: 10 Marks.
- Total: 100 Marks. Qualifying: 70 (Level 5/4), 65 (Level 3/2), 60 (Level 1).
- Trials mandatory; video recorded. Final merit list; tie resolved by younger age.
Form Apply Process
Eligible sportspersons must apply ONLINE only through the official SECR portal. No offline/postal applications accepted.
➢ Step 1: Visit secr.indianrailways.gov.in and navigate to Recruitment section.
➢ Step 2: Click on Sports Quota 2025-26 link and proceed to online registration.
➢ Step 3: Fill the application form accurately with personal, educational, and sports details (separate for multiple games if applying).
➢ Step 4: Upload recent passport-size photo (3.5x3.5 cm, 20-70 KB) and signature (3.5x2.5 cm, 20-30 KB).
➢ Step 5: Pay fee online and submit before 16 February 2026 (23:59 Hrs). Save/print confirmation and note registration number.
