Candidates must possess the following minimum educational qualification for the post of Deputy General Manager (Mech.) – Bulk Material Handling Expert (VC No. CP/07/26): Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Technology in Mechanical / Production / Production & Industrial / Manufacturing / Mechanical / Railways / Mechatronics & Automobile or any of the above combinations in part or whole. Degree must be recognized by AICTE and obtained from a University incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be Deemed University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956. Sections A & B examination of the Institution of Engineers (India), treated as equivalent to Degree by Govt. of India and recognized by AICTE, shall also be accepted. UR/EWS candidates (and SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD applying against unreserved posts) must have first class degree / minimum 60% marks in the minimum qualification. Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD as applicable) should have at least 50% marks in the minimum qualification for consideration against reserved posts. If the certificate/mark sheet does not indicate first class/division or percentage, candidates must provide the conversion formula issued by the concerned university/institution. Where no formula exists, an undertaking from the university/institution is required, and minimum 6 on 10-point scale will be considered as 60%. Candidates should have the following minimum post-qualification experience (post degree) for CP/07/26: Minimum 09 years’ experience in designing and optimizing bulk material handling systems. Ability to develop process flow diagrams, capacity calculations, and optimization studies. Experience and proficiency in material handling systems such as conveyors, stackers, reclaimers, ship loaders/unloaders, silos, wagon tipplers, and rapid loading systems. Proven capability in project lifecycle management from feasibility to commissioning. Experience in cost estimation, budgeting and lifecycle analysis of CAPEX and OPEX. The period of training (except on-the-job training), internship, teaching, academic, fellowship, and PhD research experience shall not be counted as part of experience. Maximum age for UR: 50 years as on 08.03.2026. SC/ST: Relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit. OBC–NCL: Relaxation of 3 years in upper age limit. Qualification

  5. Enter details of “Identity Proof” correctly and ensure availability of the same document in original for later verification.

  7.
