Qualification
Age Limit (as on 01.04.2026):
-
20 – 30 years (born between 02.04.1996 and 01.04.2006).

Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PwD.
Educational Qualification & Experience:
- Junior Engineer (Civil): 3-Year Diploma in Civil Engg. (min. 65% marks – 55% for SC/ST/PwD) OR Degree in Civil Engg. (min. 55% marks – 45% for SC/ST/PwD) + 2 years experience (Diploma) / 1 year experience (Degree).
- Junior Engineer (Electrical): 3-Year Diploma in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engg. (min. 65% marks – 55% for SC/ST/PwD) OR Degree in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engg. (min. 55% marks – 45% for SC/ST/PwD) + 2 years experience (Diploma) / 1 year experience (Degree).
Application Form Fees
- SC / ST / PwD / EXS: ₹50 + 18% GST (Intimation Charges only)
- General / OBC / EWS: ₹450 + 18% GST (Examination Fee + Intimation Charges)
- Payment Mode: Online through Debit Card / Credit Card / Internet Banking / IMPS / UPI / Mobile Wallets.
Selection Process
The selection will be made on the basis of following stages:-

Online Examination Pattern:
- English Language – 50 Questions / 50 Marks
- Engineering Discipline Paper-I – 40 Questions / 100 Marks
- Engineering Discipline Paper-II – 40 Questions / 100 Marks
- General Intelligence & Reasoning – 50 Questions / 50 Marks
- Total: 180 Questions / 300 Marks
Form Apply Process
Eligible & Interested candidates must apply online only through the RBI IBPS portal.
➢ Step 1: Visit the official RBI recruitment portal and register / login using valid credentials.
➢ Step 2: Fill the online application form carefully with personal, educational, experience and zone preference details.
➢ Step 3: Upload scanned copies of Photograph, Signature, Left Thumb Impression, Handwritten Declaration and relevant documents.
➢ Step 4: Pay the application fee online as per category.
➢ Step 5: Submit the form on or before 06 May 2026 and take a printout of the application form for future reference (last date for printing: 21 May 2026).
Note: Candidates can apply for only one post (Civil or Electrical). All details must be filled correctly. Edit window dates will be notified separately on the RBI website.
