Qualification

For Medical Candidates (General Disciplines): MBBS + MD/MS or equivalent + 3 years teaching/research experience after PG degree.
For Super Specialty Disciplines: MBBS + MD/MS + DM/MCh (2/3/5 years course) or equivalent. Experience: 1 year after DM/MCh (2/5 years course); No experience required for 3 years course.
For Non-Medical Candidates: Master's degree + Doctorate (Ph.D) in concerned discipline + 3 years teaching/research experience after Ph.D.
For Dentistry: BDS + MDS + 3 years teaching experience as Tutor/Senior Resident after MDS.

Age

Upper age limit: 50 years (as on the last date of online application).
Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (NCL), 10 years for PwBD, 5 years for Government servants. Additional relaxations as per Government rules.
