Must have a postgraduate qualification such as MD/MS or a recognized equivalent qualification in the respective discipline/subject. For general disciplines, three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the concerned speciality after obtaining MD/MS or equivalent degree. For super speciality disciplines, must possess MD/MS or equivalent and DM in the respective medical super speciality or MCh in the respective surgical super speciality (2/3/5 years recognized course) or equivalent. For DM/MCh (2 years or 5 years after MBBS), one year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the concerned speciality after obtaining DM/MCh or equivalent. No experience is required for candidates with a 3-year recognized DM/MCh degree or equivalent. DNB holders must produce documentary evidence of equivalence with MD/MS/DM/MCh as per NMC/MCI notification dated 31.10.2018, and additional experience is required depending on the type of DNB training institution as per notification. Assistant Professor (Contractual): Not exceeding 50 years as on the date of the walk-in-interview. No age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates applying for unreserved vacancies. The contract can be terminated by either side with one-month notice or salary in lieu of notice; services can be terminated without notice in case of misconduct, non-performance or violation of terms.
