Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) Training Schools, under the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India, has invited online applications from qualified Engineering Graduates and Science Postgraduates for the prestigious OCES-2026 and DGFS-2026 programmes. Successful candidates will be appointed as Scientific Officers (Group-A Gazetted post) in one of the DAE units. These one-year Orientation Course (OCES) and two-year DGFS fellowship schemes offer excellent career opportunities in nuclear science and technology. Eligible candidates can apply online through the dedicated portal from 22nd December 2025 onwards. Qualification

Engineering Disciplines: BE/BTech/BSc(Engg)/5-year Integrated MTech in relevant branches (Civil, Chemical, CS, EC, EE, IN, ME, MT) with minimum 60% marks. Valid GATE score (2024/2025/2026) optional for screening.
Physics: MSc/Integrated MSc in Physics or BE/BTech/MTech in Engineering Physics with 60% marks.
Chemistry: MSc/Integrated MSc in Chemistry (with Physics & Maths up to BSc or subsidiary level) with 60% marks.
Biosciences: MSc/Integrated MSc in relevant Life/Bio/Food Sciences or BTech Food Technology with 60% marks.
Geology: MSc/Integrated MSc or MTech in Geology/Applied Geology with 60% marks.
Geophysics: MSc/Integrated MSc in Geophysics/Applied Geophysics with 60% marks.
Valid GATE score in respective discipline (2024-2026) can be used for shortlisting.
