Qualifications (Project Scientist-I): Ph.D. in any branch of Life Sciences from a recognized university. Qualifications (Project Research Scientist-I): Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences, including the integrated PG degree, from a recognized university. Essential qualifications: All educational qualifications must be from a recognized Board/University. Experience required shall be acquired after obtaining the minimum educational qualifications. Desirable (Project Scientist-I): Proficiency in bioinformatics analyses for metagenomes/whole genomes/Nanostring, strong wet lab experience. Desirable (Project Research Scientist-I): First-author paper in a PubMed-indexed journal, expertise in Molecular Biology, microbiology, tissue culture work, familiarity with animal handling, protein purification and biophysical assays. Experience: Post-qualification experience of three years is sometimes required depending on the specific government/ICMR rules for that level, though not explicitly stated as a minimum for these specific roles besides the degree requirement.
Monthly consolidated emoluments are specified for each post:
Project Scientist-I: ₹ 75,000/- per month. Project Research Scientist-I: ₹ 56,000/- per month, plus HRA (House Rent Allowance). No claims for regularization of employment will be entertained.
