Qualification
Primary Stage (Class I to V) – Candidates who are Senior Secondary or its Equivalent with at least 50% or 45% marks/Passed or appearing diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE 2002 Norms / B.El.Ed(04 Years Course)/Diploma in education(Special Course ,for 02 Years)/ B.Ed(1 Year)/Diploma in Elementary Education(1 Year) will be eligible for CTET Examination
Secondary Stage (Class VI to VIII) – Candidates having Bachelor Degree (with at least 45% or 50% marks) /passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in elementary Education/Diploma in Education/B.El.Ed /B.SC.Ed /B.A Ed. /B.Ed. will be eligible for this CTET Examination.

Selection Process
Step 1: Fill the CTET Application Form –
  Candidates must fill their CTET application form online on the official website of the exam. Candidates must pay a CTET application fee of ₹1,000 (for one paper) and ₹1,200 (for two papers).
Step 2: Download the CTET Admit Card –
  Candidates can download the CTET admit card from the official website of the exam. The CTET exam admit card contains relevant details related to the candidate and the exam. It also mentions the candidate’s exam center details as well as the reporting time for the exam.
Step 3: Appear for the CTET Exam –
  Candidates must report to their CTET exam centers at least 90 minutes before the exam begins. The CTET exam lasts two and a half hours. Two papers are conducted on the exam day. Paper 1 must be taken by candidates who wish to qualify to teach classes 1 to 5 (primary wing). Paper 2 is for candidates who wish to qualify to teach classes 6 to 8 (primary wing).
Step 4: Check CTET Results –
  CBSE declares the CTET exam results on the official website. Candidates who pass the exam receive a CTET eligibility certificate. The validity of the CTET eligibility certificate has been extended from seven years to a lifetime.

- The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Papers I to V and VI to VIII 2026. Candidates can apply; the dates will be updated soon.
- Candidates should read the notification before applying for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Exam Latest Online Form 2026.
- Please check and collect all the documents – eligibility, ID proof, address details, basic details.
- Please prepare the scanned documents related to the recruitment form – photo, signature, ID proof, etc.
- Before submitting the application form, please check the preview and all the columns carefully.
- Candidates must pay the application fee if they are required to do so. If you do not have the required application fee, your form is not complete. Take a printout of the final submitted form.
Salary Details
After passing the CTET 2025 exam, candidates will be eligible to apply for teaching jobs in central government schools such as NVS/KVS and other schools, for classes 1 to 8. The basic salary of CTET-qualified teachers ranges from ₹9,300 to ₹34,800. The net in-hand salary of a CTET-qualified teacher ranges from ₹35,000 to ₹50,000 per month.
