CUTN Guest Faculty Mathematics 2026 – Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification
- Master's Degree in Mathematics with a minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent grade in a point-scale system) from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
- Candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or CSIR, OR must be awarded a Ph.D. degree in Mathematics in accordance with UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments.
Exemption from NET
Candidates who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in Mathematics as per UGC regulations are exempted from the requirement of NET for this Guest Faculty position.
Age Limit

- Superannuated teachers may be considered for engagement as Guest Faculty subject to a maximum age limit of 70 years.

Selection Process – CUTN Guest Faculty Mathematics 2026

Honorarium & Job Nature – CUTN Guest Faculty
Payment Structure
- Honorarium: ₹1,500 per lecture.
- Maximum monthly honorarium: ₹50,000, subject to the number of lectures engaged.
Nature of Employment
- Purely temporary engagement for one semester / six months.
- Services of Guest Faculty can be terminated without notice if performance is found unsatisfactory.
- No claim for regular or permanent appointment in CUTN will be entertained on the basis of this engagement.
