Qualification

Senior Environmental Engineer (SEE): Master’s in Engg. (Civil/ Environmental/ Chemical/ Electrical/ Mechanical/ ECE/ Biomedical/ Water Resources/ Remote Sensing/ GIS/ Hydrology or equivalent) + 10 yrs experience in pollution control/allied areas.
Environmental Engineer (EE): Bachelor’s in Engg. (same fields) + 8 yrs experience OR Master’s in Engg. (same fields) + 6 yrs experience.
Scientist-C: Ph.D. in Science with Master’s in Biochem./Microbiology/Life Science/Chemistry/Environmental/Analytical Chemistry/Toxicology + 2 yrs relevant experience.
Scientist-B: Master’s in Science (same fields as Scientist-C) + 3 yrs relevant experience; desirable: Ph.D.
Programmer: (A) MCA/M.Sc./M.Tech/BE/B.Tech (CS/IT/Tech) + 4 yrs EDP (incl. programming) (OR) (B) Degree (CA/CS/Electronics/ECE) + 5 yrs EDP (2 yrs programming) (OR) (C) Master’s/Degree in Engg. + 6 yrs EDP (3 yrs programming) (OR) (D) DOEACC ‘A’ Level/PGDCA + 6 yrs EDP (3 yrs programming).
