The either Party to this contract may, at any time, terminate this contract by giving to the other Party one month's (not less than 30 days) notice in writing of its intention to do so and on the expiration of such notice period, this contract shall stand terminated. It shall also be open to either party to terminate this contract by giving or tendering one month's pay/salary to other party in lieu of such notice. It shall not be necessary for either party to assign any reason for termination of this contract to the other. However, the engagement shall automatically come to an end on the expiry of the period herein first mentioned and no further notice would be required for termination of contract of the First Party. This being one-year contract, absence for period beyond 15 days without prior intimation and approval of competent authority will be treated as abandonment of duty and the contract will be terminated without any reason. He/She will be required to deposit a Security Deposit of above mentioned amount for the post mentioned through Demand Draft in favour of “ESI CORPORATION” payable “Kalaburagi” at the time of joining which is refundable after completion of minimum six-months contract period subject to production of “No Dues Certificate”. The Caution Deposit will be appropriated towards the ESI Fund in case the appointed candidate terminates his/her contract within SIX (06) months of the date of reporting towards Administrative expenses. Where the contract of any selected candidate is terminated by the Office of the Dean due to the joining of regular incumbent, the caution / security deposit shall be refunded. The candidate should check his/her eligibility against the advertised criteria for the post before applying. Mere submission of application form does not confer any right to the candidate to be interviewed. Applications found to be incomplete will be summarily rejected.
