Computer Knowledge: Basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967 is required. Candidates must have a certificate/marksheet of basic computer knowledge from any training institute, or diploma/degree with computer as a subject, or passed Standard 10/12 with computer subject. Language Knowledge: Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both is required. Citizenship: Candidate must be a citizen of India or possess nationality as per the provisions of Rule-7 of Gujarat Civil Service Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967. For the first five years: Fixed salary of Rs. 26,000/- per month as per Finance Department Resolution dated 18/10/2023. After five years of satisfactory service: Regular appointment in Pay Level-2 (Rs. 19,900/- to Rs. 63,200/-) as per 7th Pay Commission. Part-A (90 Marks): Reasoning & Data Interpretation (30 marks), Quantitative Aptitude (30 marks), Constitution, Current Affairs, English and Gujarati Comprehension (30 marks). Part-B (120 Marks): Questions related to technical qualification and its applications. Total 210 questions will be asked for 210 marks. Total time allotted: 3 hours (180 minutes) for both parts combined. Negative Marking: 1/4 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
