Must be a citizen of India. Must be a Graduate in Law under 10+2+3+3, 10+2+5, 10+2+4+3 or any other recognized pattern from a University in the Indian Union and recognized by the Bar Council of India for admission as Advocate or Attorney. Must have passed all Law Examinations within the duration of the course. Must have obtained Law Degree not earlier than five years as on the date of Notification (i.e., on or after 12-11-2020). Candidates pursuing Post-Graduate Degree in Law or any other Degrees or Programmes requiring their compulsory attendance elsewhere are not eligible. Must not have attained the age of 30 years as on 1st July 2025.

Viva-voce (Personal Interview) at Principal Seat at Chennai or Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Madurai. The committee may decide at its discretion to hold a screening test (if required). No TA/DA will be paid for attending the viva-voce / screening test.
Consolidated Honorarium: ₹50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand Only) per month. No other allowances or perks are admissible.
