Qualification: Only Civil Judges (Senior Division) of Madhya Pradesh whose names are figured in the annexed eligibility list are eligible. Number of eligible Civil Judges (Senior Division): 03 (List annexed with the notification). Candidates must have completed the required years of service as per Madhya Pradesh Higher Judicial Service Rules, 2017.
Pay Scale: Rs. 144840 – 194660 (Revised scale under Madhya Pradesh Judicial Services Rules, 2022).

Promotion from amongst Civil Judges (Senior Division) on the basis of Merit-cum-Seniority and passing the Suitability Test. The suitability test comprises a Written Examination (Two Question Papers). Minimum qualifying marks: 45% aggregate in both papers.
Candidates who do not apply online shall be treated as “unwilling” to appear in the examination. Admit Cards will be generated approximately 07 days before the examination on the official website. Any form of canvassing or use of unfair means will lead to disqualification. Disqualification cases include impersonation, forgery, concealment of facts, misconduct during examination, etc. Final result will be published on the official website of the High Court of Madhya Pradesh. No revaluation of answer books is allowed.
