For the post of Hindi Translator, selection shall be based on Written Test and shall be subject to the document verification towards the eligibility. Written Test details: General Knowledge & Current Affairs (Objective) 50 Qs. 50 Marks 90 Minutes; English Vocabulary and Grammar (Objective) 40 Qs. 40 Marks; Hindi Vocabulary and Grammar (Objective) 40 Qs. 40 Marks; Computer Knowledge (Objective) 20 Qs. 20 Marks; Translation from Hindi to English (Descriptive) 5 Qs. 25 Marks 30 Minutes; Translation from English to Hindi (Descriptive) 5 Qs. 25 Marks; English Essay (Descriptive) 1 Qs. 10 Marks; Hindi Essay (Descriptive) 1 Qs. 10 Marks. The above written test details OR pattern are indicative in nature and likely to be change. The details of change, if any, shall be conveyed through the call letter issued to individual candidates. Objective type with multiple choices (Max.4) with distracters and one correct answer. 1/4th mark shall be deducted for every wrong answer.
