Qualification
- Educational Qualification: Secondary School Examination (10th Class) pass certificate with Mathematics and English (compulsory or elective) from recognized Board.
- Local Language: Compulsory knowledge of local language of the concerned Postal Circle (studied up to 10th standard).
- Other Requirements: Basic computer knowledge, knowledge of cycling, and adequate means of livelihood.
- Candidates awaiting results are not eligible.

Selection Process
- Automated Merit List based on 10th standard marks (with accuracy up to 4 decimal places).
- No weightage for higher education.
- Document Verification for shortlisted candidates.
- In case of tie: Priority based on age (older first), then category preferences.
Form Apply Process
Eligible candidates must apply ONLINE only through indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. No other mode accepted.
➢ Step 1: Visit indiapostgdsonline.gov.in when application starts.
➢ Step 2: Register with mobile/email (One-Time Registration valid for calendar year).
➢ Step 3: Fill application, select Postal Circle/Division, enter details accurately.
➢ Step 4: Upload Photo, Signature, 10th Certificate, and other documents (as specified).
➢ Step 5: Pay fee online (if applicable) and submit. Take printout.
Salary Details
- Branch Postmaster (BPM): ₹12,000 – ₹29,380/- per month
