Selection is through a walk-in interview to be held on 16 January 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Central Library, IIT Goa. Eligible candidates may submit their biodata in advance to the Chief Investigator by email on or before 14 January 2026. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing for the interview. No separate interview call letter will be sent; candidates must attend as per the advertisement details.
The project is titled “Marine Species Identification and Recognition Using AI” at the School of Mathematics and Computer Science, IIT Goa, sponsored by the Ministry of Earth Sciences. The selected Project Associate-I will be required to travel to CMLRE, Kochi and NIOT, Chennai and may be required to participate in a scientific cruise expedition, if necessary. The appointment is purely temporary and will terminate automatically without notice upon termination of the project. The appointee will have no claim for appointment or absorption in any funding agency or in IIT Goa. The prescribed qualifications must have been obtained from recognized universities/institutions. Selected candidates will be required to join within a reasonable timeframe upon receipt of the offer.
