Grih Rakshak (Home Guard) – Rural & Urban

• Rural Grih Rakshak: Candidate must be a permanent resident of the concerned block of Deoghar district from where he/she is applying.
• Urban Grih Rakshak: Candidate must be a general resident of the urban area of Deoghar district.

• Rural Grih Rakshak: Minimum 7th Pass.
• Urban Grih Rakshak: Minimum Matric (10th) Pass.

1. Physical Efficiency Test (Qualifying + Merit)
2. Hindi Writing Ability Test (Qualifying, 100 marks, minimum 30 marks)
3. Technical Proficiency Test (only for Urban Technical candidates – Qualifying, 100 marks, minimum 30 marks)
4. Document Verification & Medical Examination
5. Basic Training (after selection)

1. Visit the official JAP-IT website (link will be provided in local newspapers).
2. Register and fill the online application form separately for Rural or Urban Grih Rakshak.
3. Upload recent colour photograph, signature, domicile certificate, educational certificates, caste certificate (if applicable), and other required documents.
4. Pay the application fee of ₹200/- online.
5. Submit the application and take printout of the submitted form & payment receipt for future reference.
6. One candidate can submit only one application. Multiple applications will be rejected.
