Qualification Master's Degree in West Asian Studies / Islamic History / Sociology / Political Science and International Relations with specialization in West Asian Studies. Essential Qualification The eligibility criteria for inclusion in the panel are as prescribed by the UGC for the appointment of Assistant Professors. In the case of Post-Graduation marks and age there will be relaxation for the reserved category candidates as per rules. Desirable Qualification Preference will be given to candidates having: Expertise in trade and economy, with special focus on energy sources in the Gulf region. Expertise in International Politics / IR theory, with special focus on West Asian Studies. Proficiency in English language.
