Chairman, Permanent Lok Adalat

• Citizen of India
• Person who is, or has been, a retired District Judge or Additional District Judge or has held Judicial Office higher in rank than that of a District Judge
• Sufficient knowledge of Marathi so as to enable him/her to speak, read, write and translate from Marathi into English and vice-versa

Member, Permanent Lok Adalat

• Citizen of India
• Person having knowledge and adequate experience in any of the Public Utility Services as defined under Section 22-A of the Act
• Sufficient knowledge of Marathi to enable him/her to speak, read, write, and translate with facility from Marathi into English and vice-versa

• Chairman, Permanent Lok Adalat: Maximum age is 65 years.
• Member, Permanent Lok Adalat: Maximum age is 65 years.
