Essential qualifications: Master’s degree (minimum 55% marks or equivalent CGPA) in relevant branch of Biological Sciences along with 04 years (Post PG) R & D experience OR PhD in relevant branch of Biological Sciences. Desirable qualifications: Candidates with published work/experience in the project area shall be given preference. Experience: 04 years (Post PG) R & D experience in relevant branch of Biological Sciences for Master’s degree holders as per essential qualification; additional experience as per desirable condition in the project area will be preferred.
Monthly Stipend: Rs. 42,000 + HRA (9%). If a suitable candidate as per essential and desirable qualifications is not available, the position may be filled with Project Associate-II/Project Associate-I on monthly stipend as per DST OM No. SR/S9/Z-05/2019 dated 10th July 2020.

The eligible and shortlisted candidates shall be informed about the date and time of interview by email. The interview shall be conducted in blended mode (Offline/Online). The decision of the Principal Investigator (PI) shall be final in this regard.
The position is purely temporary, on annual extension basis, co-terminus with the project duration i.e. up to 01.12.2028 or as decided by DBT. The selected candidates shall not be considered as employee of Mizoram University or DBT and are not entitled for any benefits applicable to the employees of Mizoram University or DBT. Selected candidates are required to contribute for successful implementation of the project and are not allowed to take any other employment during the tenure of their engagement with the project. The progress of the staff shall be regularly monitored by the PI and the staff is required to submit monthly progress report to the PI. If the progress of the staff is not satisfactory, their services may be terminated on the recommendation of the PI. It is obligatory on part of the staff to write research papers on the outcome of the project.
