Qualifications & Essential qualifications: Project Research Scientist - I (Non-Medical): Master of Science in Clinical psychology / Neuropsychology. Project Technical Support - III: Master of Science in Biotechnology / Microbiology / Chemistry. Desirable: Project Research Scientist - I: Experience in clinical assessment of patients with schizophrenia, cognitive functions assessment, and working in clinical research with randomized controlled trials. Project Technical Support - III: Hands-on experience and expertise in blood sample processing, storage, PBMC isolation, flow-cytometry, and liquid chromatography. Experience: Experience required in specific areas for both posts as listed under desirable experience/essential qualification depending on interpretation.
Project Research Scientist - I (Non-Medical): ₹56,000 + 30% HRA per month. Project Technical Support - III: ₹ 28,000 + 30% HRA per month.
Maximum age limit for both posts is 35 years.
Event Date Notification Date 09/12/2025 Date & time of Walk-in-Selection 23/12/2025 at 10:30 A.M. Registration Time (Half an hour before start) 23/12/2025 at 10:00 A.M.
Selection is through a Walk-In-Selection process which may include a written/skill test followed by an interview. Candidates must register their names half an hour before the commencement of the test. Candidates should bring their Resume, original Marks Cards, and Testimonials in original, as well as a set of photocopies. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the selection process.
The posts are on a contract basis for an ICMR-funded project. The initial appointment duration is 6 months, extendable depending on performance. Candidates working in other projects (Extramural/Intramural) in NIMHANS need to provide a NOC from their current Principal Investigator.
Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria are advised to appear directly for the Walk-In-Selection. Venue: Board Room & Exam Hall, 4th Floor, NBRC Building, Opposite To Library, NIMHANS, Bengaluru – 560 029. Date and Time: December 23, 2025, at 10:30 A.M. (Registration at 10:00 A.M.).
