Qualifications (Project Research Scientist -I): First Class Post Graduate Degree including the integrated PG degrees. OR Second Class Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degrees with Ph.D. Qualifications (Project Technical Support -II): B.Sc – MLT (Medical Lab Technology) OR DMLT (Diploma in Medical Lab Technology) with two year experience in relevant subject / field Experience (Desirable for Scientist): Execution of the proposal requires highly skilled professionals with experience in Molecular Biology, and Neurobiology, including hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques and data analysis. Experience (Desirable for Technical Support): Experience in histopathology & Immunohistochemistry in a recognized organization.
PROJECT RESEARCH SCIENTIST -I (NON-MEDICAL): Rs.56,000+30% HRA per month. Project Technical Support -II: Rs.20,000+30% HRA per month.
Maximum age limit for Project Research Scientist -I is 35 Years. Maximum age limit for Project Technical Support -II is 30 Years.

Selection is via a Walk-in-Selection process which may include a written/skill test followed by an interview. Candidates must register their names half an hour before the commencement of the written/skill test.
The posts are on a contract basis for the ICMR-CAR funded project entitled “Exploring the pathobiology of brain aging in Indian population...”. The duration of the post is 5 years. Initial appointment is for one year, extendable yearly depending upon performance/project end date. NOC from the Principal Investigator is required if working in projects within NIMHANS. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the written test/interview.
Desirous candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria are advised to appear for the Walk-in-Selection.
