Recruitment of teaching staff will be compiled at district level post-wise / subject-wise / category-wise; applications will be invited accordingly. Separate merit lists will be prepared post-wise / subject-wise / category-wise for selection. Selection for Head Cook, Assistant Cook, Peon and Watchman will be based on interview. Original documents/certificates of selected staff will be verified from the concerned Board/Institution at the time of appointment. Only female candidates will be selected for teaching/non-teaching vacancies in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas. Male candidates must not apply. The selected full-time staff (including Caretaker, Head Cook, Peon, Watchman and Assistant Cook) must reside within the school premises. Family members of permanent staff are not permitted to stay on the campus. All staff must arrange their own meals. The number of vacancies may increase or decrease as per requirement. Selection is on a service contract basis for one academic session (maximum 11 months / 329 days); if performance is satisfactory, the contract may be extended for the next session.
