Age Limit (as on 01/01/2025): 18–25 years (Relaxation for Ex-Servicemen as per Government rules).
Educational Qualification: Class VII pass or equivalent examination from a recognized institution.
Nationality and Residency:
- Candidates must be bonafide Gurkhas and inhabitants of India or Nepal.
- Gurkha candidates residing in India must provide a Residential Certificate issued by DM/ADM/Tahasildar and a certificate of bonafide Indian Gurkha from a recognized organization.
- Gurkha candidates from Nepal must possess valid Nepalese Citizenship.
✔️ Physical Test: Assessment of physical standards and fitness as per the criteria above.
✔️ Viva Voce: Oral interview to evaluate suitability and communication skills.
✔️ Odia Test: To assess proficiency in the Odia language.
