Note: As per General Administration Department, Bihar, Patna Resolution No. S0-962 dated 22.01.2021, suitable candidates from the following categories will be considered for reserved posts under 35% horizontal reservation for women:

For District Audit Officer (Level-7) and Senior Audit Officer (Level-6):
Graduate Degree from a recognized University Candidates studying in final year are also allowed to apply provided they complete and obtain Graduation Degree before commencement of course (October 2026) For final year candidates, proof of passing the graduation degree examination along with all semester mark sheets must be submitted by 01 October 2026 Candidates who fail to submit the required documents will have their candidature cancelled

The selection process will be conducted for posts notified only by Bihar State Government Selection will be based on procedures and criteria as per General Administration Department Resolution dated 10.07.2015 The appointment will be on contract basis under the departmental selection committee
Minimum Age: 21 years (or as per appointment rules) Maximum Age: 65 years as on 30 December 2025 Age Relaxation: As per Government norms for reserved categories
Special Provisions:
Maximum age of 65 years will be applicable for selection or appointment Candidates whose upper age limit is 65 years will be eligible For contract appointments, the maximum age limit will be 70 years Selection can be made at different department/district levels
