Qualification
- Educational Qualification: Passed 10th Standard (S.S.C./Matriculation) from the concerned State/UT under the Regional Jurisdiction of the Recruiting Office applied for. The Candidate must be an undergraduate as on 01.01.2026 (Graduates and higher qualified are ineligible).
- Local Language Proficiency: Proficiency in the local language of the State/UT (reading, writing, speaking, understanding) as per the Office applied for.
Age
- Minimum: 18 Years
- Maximum: 25 Years (as on 01.01.2026) - Candidates born not earlier than 02.01.2001 and not later than 01.01.2008
- Age Relaxation: 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC, 10 years for PwBD and others as per Government rules.

Form Apply Process
Eligible candidates must apply ONLINE only through the RBI portal. No other mode will be accepted. DigiLocker integration is available for voluntary document access.
➢ Step 1: Visit opportunities.rbi.org.in or the provided link from 15 January 2026.
➢ Step 2: Click on “Recruitment for the post of Office Attendant - PY 2025” → New Registration.
➢ Step 3: Fill the application form accurately, select the Office (one only), and upload scanned Photograph, Signature, etc.
➢ Step 4: Pay the fee online (if applicable).
➢ Step 5: Submit before 04 February 2026. Take printout of application and e-receipt for reference.
Salary Details
- Starting Basic Pay: ₹24,250/- per month in the scale of ₹24250 – 840(4) – 27610 – 980(3) – 30550 – 1200(3) – 34150 -1620(2) - 37390 – 1990(4) - 45350 – 2700(2) - 50750 – 2800(1) – 53550
- Initial Monthly Gross Emoluments (approx.): ₹46,029/- (without HRA) plus other allowances as admissible.
