Essential Qualification: MBBS degree with Post Graduate degree/ diploma from any Medical Council of India recognized institutions in Pathologist or equivalent.
Remuneration per month (in Rs.) : 1,05,000/-. Remuneration will be paid from the maximum Claim amount (earned amount) under Ayushman Bharat Jan Arogya Yojana insurance scheme.
Minimum Age: 21 Years. Maximum Age: 70 Years. Applicants whose age is more than 65 Years and who were/are in Government service should attach their health certificate.

Selection of interested candidates / doctors will be done through Walk-in-Interview by the Selection Committee. Walk-in-Interview will be conducted in the meeting hall of Civil Surgeon, Jamtara. If the number of candidates is high, written examination / interview may be conducted and the decision of the committee will be final and binding.
This post is purely need-based and on honorarium basis; no regular appointment will be made on the basis of this engagement and the doctor will be contracted for one year against the approved honorarium. Work will be reviewed after three months and in case of unsatisfactory performance, the contract can be terminated. The selected candidate will not claim regular appointment in future. All original certificates submitted by selected candidates will be verified from the issuing institutions within three months; if found incorrect, the appointment will be cancelled with immediate effect and legal action will be taken. The contract of a medical officer engaged on contract basis can be terminated by giving one month notice. Candidates who were or were not in Government service and whose age is more than 65 Years shall attach a health certificate. Candidates submitting CGPA score card for educational qualification shall also submit CGPA conversion chart along with the marksheet. District Selection Committee may make necessary amendments in the terms of advertisement as per requirement and reserves the right to cancel the advertisement. The decision of the District Selection Committee in the appointment process will be final and binding. Reservation policy implemented by the Government of Jharkhand will be followed in the appointment process and reserved category candidates such as Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Backward Class shall attach caste certificate issued by Sub-Divisional Officer / Deputy Commissioner. The format of advertisement can be seen on jamtara.nic.in and the application form can also be downloaded. No personal correspondence regarding the appointment will be entertained.
