Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Required qualification: Same as prescribed for appointment of regular Assistant Professor in Universities/Colleges as per UGC regulations.
  • For teaching posts: Typically PhD / Post-Doctoral research experience or equivalent in the relevant field as per UGC norms.
  • Category: Only OBC (Other Backward Class) candidates are eligible for these advertised positions.

OBC Eligibility

  • Candidate must belong to OBC Non-Creamy Layer and appear in the Central List of OBCs.
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) certificate must be issued after 31-03-2024.
  • Certificate should be in the prescribed format as per Government of India guidelines and issued by the competent authority.

Age Limit

  • For retired teachers: Maximum age limit is 70 years.
  • For active professionals/others: As per prevailing UGC regulations.

Additional Requirements

  • In-service teachers must obtain a “No Objection Certificate (NOC)” from their parent institution.
  • In-service teachers must bring a certificate confirming that they are taking classes as per prescribed workload.
  • Guest faculty can take a maximum of 04 credit courses as Guest Faculty in a semester in only one other institute/college.

Job Description & Responsibilities

  • Teaching and delivery of courses in the respective department.
  • Conducting lectures, tutorials, and seminars in the assigned subject.
  • Student mentoring and academic guidance.
  • Assessment and evaluation of student performance.
  • Participation in departmental activities, meetings, and seminars.
  • Compliance with college and University academic regulations.

  • Retired teachers can apply up to a maximum age of 70 years.
  • No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
  • Guest faculty can teach a maximum of 04 credit courses in a semester in only one other institute/college besides their parent institution.
