(iii) Working experience of minimum one year as Lab Assistant in a Laboratory Diagnostic Centre or hospital or institution lab recognized by Central/State Government. Head Constable (Physiotherapy Assistant) (i) 12th class pass from a recognized Board. (ii) Certificate course of minimum one year in Physiotherapy from a recognized institute. (iii) Experience of minimum one year as Physiotherapy Assistant from a Physiotherapy Centre or minimum 100-bedded hospital or institute recognized by Central/State Government. Constable (Nursing Assistant cum Medic) (i) 10th class pass from a recognized Board. (ii) First Aid Certificate course from St. John's Ambulance Organization or Red Cross Society of India. (iii) Experience of minimum one year as Nursing Assistant in a minimum 50-bedded Hospital or Institution recognized by Central/State Government. The SSB Paramedical Selection Process 2026 consists of the following stages: Stage I – Physical Efficiency Test (PET): HC (Lab Assistant) & HC (Physiotherapy Assistant): Male – 1.6 km in 6 min 30 sec; Female – 800 m in 4 min Constable (Nursing Assistant cum Medic): Male – 4.8 km in 24 min; Female – 2.4 km in 18 min Ex-Servicemen are exempted from PET Stage I – Physical Standard Test (PST): Height and chest measurement as per category-wise norms (General/UR/OBC/EWS: Male 165 cm, Female 155 cm; chest for males 75–80 cm; relaxations for ST, NE States, Garhwali, Kumaoni, Dogra, Maratha, J&K/Ladakh candidates). Stage II – Written Examination (Computer Based Test): HC (Lab Assistant & Physiotherapy Assistant): 150 marks, 3 hours, 150 MCQs – Part I (50 marks): GK, Maths, Reasoning, General English/Hindi; Part II (100 marks): Technical Subject. Negative marking: 0.25 per wrong answer. Constable (Nursing Assistant cum Medic): 100 marks, 2 hours, 100 MCQs – GK, Maths, Reasoning, General English/Hindi. Negative marking: 0.25 per wrong answer. Stage III – Documentation & Detailed Medical Examination (DME) / Review Medical Examination (RME): Top 3 times the number of vacancies (category-wise) from written exam will be called. Final merit list drawn on written exam marks. Category Fee UR, EWS, OBC ₹100/- (Non-Refundable) SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female Candidates Exempted (No Fee) Payment mode: Net Banking / Credit Card / Debit Card / UPI. A candidate can apply for only ONE post from the three posts mentioned. Only online applications will be accepted; applications through any other mode will be rejected. All educational/professional certificates must be possessed by the closing date of receipt of applications. Date of Birth and name as recorded in Matriculation certificate are final; no subsequent change will be considered. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in recruitment tests; candidates must arrange their own stay for at least one week. Unemployed SC/ST candidates appearing in written test will be reimbursed fare as per rules. Biometric attendance, digital photograph, signature and thumb impression will be taken at all stages. Once category is registered, no change of category will be entertained. Form Apply Process

  1. Visit the official SSB Recruitment website https://recruitment.ssb.gov.in/ or https://ssb.gov.in/ and read all instructions carefully before filling the application.
  2. Fill Part-I of the online application: Post name, personal details (name as per matriculation certificate), father's/mother's name, date of birth, gender, nationality, religion, marital status, category.
  3. Fill Part-II: Upload passport-size coloured photograph (JPG, 4–12 KB, 100×120 pixels, white background, 75% face) and signature (JPG, 4–12 KB, 140×80 pixels, blue/black ink).
  4. After successful upload, a Registration Number will be generated – note it down or take a printout.
  5. Fill remaining details: Aadhaar number/photo ID, identification marks, mobile number (mandatory), email ID (mandatory), education qualification, postal/permanent address, criminal case declaration, and create a password.
  6. Proceed to Part-III: Pay examination fee (if applicable) through Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/UPI.
  7. Take a printout of the submitted application form for future reference.
  8. Report to the recruitment venue on the date mentioned in the Admit Card with all original documents, certificates, Aadhaar Card, etc.
