Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree (M.Tech. / M.E. / M.S.) in Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Technology / Production Engineering / Material Science / Metallurgy / Aerospace Engineering / Automobile Engineering / Ocean and Naval Architecture / Applied Mechanics / Civil Engineering, or any allied area. The candidates having research experience will be given preference.
Emolument: Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) only + HRA as admissible per month. Duration: Up to 18/10/2026 or until further order, whichever is earlier, which may be extended further based on the status of the project.
Candidates shall not be more than 35 years of age on the last date of receipt of application. Upper age limit may be relaxed as per Government of India rules.

Original documents of the candidates will be verified by the Selection Committee. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

The position is under the Principal Investigator Dr. Prabin Haloi, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Tezpur University, Tezpur, Napaam - 784028, Assam. Those in employment or doing Ph.D. must submit ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the concerned employer / Ph.D. Supervisor.
