Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Examination Notification No. 05/2026-CSE for the Civil Services Examination (CSE), 2026, which serves as the gateway to prestigious services including IAS, IPS, IFS (Indian Foreign Service), IRS, and others. The UPSC CSE Preliminary Examination 2026 is tentatively scheduled on 24th May 2026, with online registration open from 04 February 2026 to 24 February 2026 (up to 6:00 PM). Eligible candidates must apply ONLINE only through the UPSC portal. No other mode of application will be accepted.

➢ Step 1: Visit upsconline.nic.in and complete One Time Registration (OTR) if not already done (lifetime registration).

➢ Step 2: Login and select “Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2026” under Part-I Registration.

➢ Step 3: Fill personal, educational, category, and other details carefully.

➢ Step 4: Upload scanned photograph, signature, and valid Photo ID proof.

➢ Step 5: Pay the application fee online (if applicable) and submit the form.

➢ Step 6: Take printout of the application and fee receipt for future reference.
